あなたたちの行くべき道は分かる
「人生一寸先は闇」と言われます。
確かに私たちは、明日この世界でどんな事件が起きるのか、そして自分の身にどのようなことが起こるのか分かりません。
出エジプトのリーダーをモーセから引き継いだヨシュアは、いよいよヨルダン川を渡って約束の地に入っていくとき、民に言いました。
彼らにとってそこは初めて足を踏み入れる土地でした。
「あなたたちは、あなたたちの神、主の契約の箱をレビ人の祭司たちが担ぐのを見たなら、今いる所をたって、その後に続け。…そうすれば、これまで一度も通ったことのない道であるが、あなたたちの行くべき道は分かる。」
＜旧約聖書・ヨシュア記3章3~4節 新共同訳＞
私たちが明日を知ることができないのと同じように、彼らにとってもこれから進んでゆく道は「これまで一度も通ったことのない道」でした。
しかし、主の契約の箱（その中には神様から彼らに与えられた「十戒」が入っていました）に先導され、その後に従って行くなら「あなたたちの行くべき道は分かる」と言うのです。
神様は聖書の言葉を通して、私たちの人生を導いてくださいます。
私たちが本来進むべき道からそれるときには警告し、これから起こるはずのことを示し、それに対する備えをするようにと呼びかけてくださるのです。
確かに、私たちの人生の一寸先は闇です。しかし、神様はその暗闇を力強く照らすともし火を用意してくださいました。
この聖書の光に導かれて、与えられている人生の旅路を前進していきたいと思います。

English Ver You will know which way to go
We often say that "Nobody knows what may happen tomorrow".
Certainly, it’s one of the truths in our life. No one knows what the future holds.
Joshua took over from Moses the role of Exodus leader. They finally across the river of Jordan and were about to enter the promised land.
At that time, the leaders told the people.
“When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before.
(Joshua 3:3,4 NIV).
We do not know what will happen in the future. In the same way, they did not know what was waiting for them in the promised land. It was a place they had never been to. But if they keep up with the ark of the covenant, they will know which way to go.
God leads our life through the word of God. He gives a warning when we leave the right way. Through His words, He will prepare us for the future.
Surely, we cannot know the future by myself. However, God gave us the light for keep on traveling. It is the Bible. We can continue each journey to the destination with Bible.
